Winter projects at St Audries Bay Holiday Club

We have been very busy over the winter with various projects happening around the parks in preparation for the 2017 season!

Like everybody in the UK, the country’s economy seems to be on everybody’s mind. One thing is very clear, our industry has seen a huge resurgence in bookings and customers purchasing holiday homes for the first time!

Nearly all of our colleagues have been talking of an increase in enquiries across the board for both holidays and holiday home ownership, especially in the South West. The area is very high on the shopping list for holidays at home and homes to buy alike. Whilst this isn’t anything new to us, the numbers impress us the most.

We have been talking to many of the manufacturers and they are all very busy with orders for 2017 and have full order books, so we made the decision to pre-order as many of the new 2017 models as we could for the sites, which are gradually arriving on the parks.

St Audries Bay Holiday Club

The new development “Exmoor View” at St Audries Bay Holiday Club is really taking shape and many of the lodges are now in situ. The car parking spaces have been laid, the sun decks have been built and the steps have been fitted. Next, we will work on the finishing touches of the development by planting various shrubs and trees.

Exmoor View is a lovely peaceful development with amazing panoramic views of the countryside and the sea which is priced competitively. You will find a collection of show homes ready to view from some of the leading manufacturers to include ABI, Atlas, Swift and Pemberton. The homes come with the sundeck included, drive port and a long lease of 25 years, meaning you can enjoy your holiday home for longer.

The new showground at St Audries Bay is in the process of being built and will be located by the Sales and Owners’ Office. This should be finished by mid April in readiness for our new show models arriving from both Swift and Willerby.

The reception toilets, both ladies and gents are undergoing a total transformation. The new bathrooms will be ready in the next few weeks.

We have a video for you which shows our first twin unit arriving on to the new Exmoor View development. The Victory Lodge 40’ x 20’ Versailles was delivered by our friends from Toogoods Transport and then carefully craned into position by the team at South West Crane Hire.

The team worked tirelessly with maximum precision to ensure everything went to plan. Once the lodge was in position, The Victory Site and Commissioning Team completed the installation by fitting both halves of the lodge together. We have to say that the lodge looks magnificent! The next step is to fit the sun deck and cladding around the lodge to complete the look. Please do have a look at the video here.
