The Holiday Park

Pentire Coastal Holiday Park is located on the North Coast of Cornwall and is perfectly located to explore both Cornwall and Devon. It is just a 10 minute car journey to Bude, a popular coastal town in North Cornwall.

The park itself is family friendly and has an adventure playground on site.  It is dog friendly too and has a dog walking field plus dog wash station. The 12 month season makes this park stand out from others. There is a modern owners lounge where there are complimentary drinks and snacks available.  Here you will find magazines and newspapers with books to borrow.

Bude has something for everyone and has plenty to keep the family entertained all year round. The large town is always hustling and bustling with locals and holiday makers visiting the plentiful independent stores, vintage clothing and surfwear shops. There is an array of delicious places to eat so whether you just fancy an ice cream, a light bite on the beach or a Sunday roast in a quaint local pub, you will be spoilt for choice.

Home to beautiful sandy beaches, the only decision you will have to make is which one to visit! Sandymouth Beach is popular with families and surfers.  When the tide goes out, there is a huge sandy beach. At low tide it is possible to walk to Crooklets Beach which is two miles along the coast.

Summerleaze Beach is located on the outskirts of town and is inviting with the large sandy beach.  Enjoy the tidal sea pool for safe wild swimming, hire a beach hut and finish off in the beach cafe for a warming drink.

Whilst staying at Pentire Coastal Holiday Park, there are lots of other activities to get involved with. There is access to coasteering, golf, bike hire, canoeing and of course surfing.

Popular places to visit include:

Tamar Lakes Take a walk or bike ride around the lake.  It’s just 2.8 miles around the top lake and has a smooth cycling track.  Take part in Paddle boarding, windsurfing and kayaking or just enjoy the scenery and spotting the birds.

Bodmin Jail – A family experience not to be missed. It is an award winning heritage tour which takes you back to the rich and dark past of Georgian and Victorian crime and punishment.

Bodmin Moor – One of Cornwall’s designated Areas of natural Outstanding Beauty with 220 sq km to explore.  Find the granite tors, prehistoric settlements and walk the expansive grassland.

Boscastle – Is a pretty coastal village with scenic walks and independent shops.  The main attraction is the Medieval Harbor and Pentargon Waterfall.  You can also walk to Tintagel along the South West Coastal Path which is a beautiful 4 mile walk.
