St Agnes offers a perfect mix of beach days, scenic walks, and local culture. Here are some of our favourites:

St Agnes Museum: Open daily, this museum allows visitors to step back in time and view 6,500 artefacts, a fascinating tour through the mining and maritime history of St Agnes.  

Truro is the county town of Cornwall, just 20 minutes away. Known for its Gothic revival and Georgian architecture, it’s a great day out—explore the cobbled streets, independent shops, the three-spire cathedral, and a selection of local markets.

Blue Hills Tin Mine Walk: This 3.3-mile walk along the South West Coast Path explores the mining heritage site and includes the option to visit the only surviving tin stream works.

St Agnes Beacon is one of the most impressive sites in Cornwall. It stands 192m above sea level and offers one of the most beautiful views across Cornwall.

St Agnes Holiday Park - Local beaches

Stunning beaches surround St Agnes Holiday Park, each offering something slightly different.

Trevaunance Cove is the main beach in St Agnes. It is excellent for surfing and swimming. At low tide, the beach is sandy, and at high tide, it is shingle. During the summer months, it is lifeguarded.

Nearby, Trevellas Porth Cove is a smaller, quieter pebble beach. It is ideal for snorkelling and exploring, and can be reached from Trevaunance Cove via the South West Coast Path.

Chapel Porth Beach, a National Trust heritage site, offers dramatic cliffs and rock pools. At low tide, the caves are fun to explore. Seasonal lifeguards are available, and a cafe serves refreshments.

Porthtowan Beach is family-friendly, with vast golden sands and great surf.

Perranporth Beach can be reached in under 10 minutes by car. The beach stretches for miles and is perfect for long walks, beach days, and sunsets. It is lifeguarded during the main holidays and summer months. The town offers an array of local shops, restaurants, and pubs to enhance your stay.
