Butlin’s Minehead Resort is located in the popular town of Minehead, Somerset.  It is just 21 miles from Taunton, 12 miles from Devon and on the doorstep of Exmoor National Park.

The resort itself promises holidays full of family fun and entertainment. As a caravan owner here, you have access to all of the facilities including Splash Waterworld which has slides, flumes and a tots area.  There are daily shows and entertainment which include live shows, big-name acts and shows just for little ones.  The children and adults alike can enjoy the vintage fairground and restaurants on site.  There are plenty of soft play areas and parks to relish.

If you are looking to soak up the local area, the lovely sandy beach is located opposite where you can build sandcastles, swim and paddleboard.

Exmoor National Park offers plentiful walks, stunning villages and the most beautiful scenery.  If walking is not your pastime, you can enjoy it all from the West Somerset Railway which has steam trains departing from Minehead and travels up and down the coastline to Bishops Lydeard.  The famous Dunster Castle is en route.

Blue Anchor Bay is situated about 5 miles from Minehead, Blue Anchor Bay features a wide, sandy beach that is great for swimming, fishing, and walking. It also provides stunning views of the Bristol Channel and the Welsh coast.

Porlock Weir Beach is located approximately 9 miles west of Minehead, this pebble beach is part of a picturesque village with a quaint harbour. It’s a peaceful spot, ideal for relaxing and taking in the scenic views.

Watchet Beach is about 9 miles east of Minehead, Watchet Beach is a rocky beach known for its fossil hunting opportunities. The nearby town of Watchet has a historic harbour and a charming atmosphere.
